Paper Plate Self-Portraits

How many art projects can you do with a simple paper plate? Well, the list is endless with a paper plate self-portrait being just one option.

On this day we were learning all about ourselves so we decided to make a self-portrait. We looked at our faces in the mirror and discussed our facial features. We then spoke about where our features were in relation to each other. We had a selection of materials to use including card, paint, paper, felt, wool etc. and, of course, our paper plates.

Its almost hard to tell what is our reflection and what is our paper plate creation!
