Spooky Halloween Lanterns

These Halloween Monster Lanterns were so simple to make!

We collected glass jars (jam, curry sauce jars, coffee jars etc.) and cleaned them making sure we removed all labels etc. We covered the jar in PVA (or you can do a section at a time) and placed pieces of tissue paper all over the jar making sure there were no empty spaces. With a paint brush and a small bit of extra PVA, we made sure all the pieces were fully stuck down. The final step was to make the monsters face. For this we simple cut face pieces from black sugar paper and stuck them down! We placed a tea light (battery operated for safety) inside and at night time they gave a spooky glow!
